Lately, I have been wearing simply sophisticated outfits so I decided to shake things up a bit. I got inspired by a recent photoshoot I had (with a publication that I cannot reveal as of the moment) wherein the hair peg was Cornrow Braids. I have never tried this hairstyle before but I was open to it and very excited to experiment with a more edgy look. I wanted to come up with an outfit that would match my new do so I decided to wear a white jumpsuit, black leather jacket, white sneakers, and gold accessories. I know it’s not a completely edgy outfit but it felt completely different to me. I kind of liked it actually–maybe this type of style just needs to grow on me…or not. Either way, the important thing here is that I ventured out of my comfort zone and tried something new. It is very important to experiment with different styles because you will never know if something is right for you unless you try it out for yourself.

This whole outfit cost me a total of Php 2,060.47–surprisingly pricey, I know. Let me explain how this happened exactly. I got the jumpsuit for just Php 120.00 from an Ukay-Ukay. The brand of the leather jacket is Forever 21 but I actually bought it from the Surplus Shop for just Php 400.00. I got my Guess sneakers on sale for just $30.o0 (Php 1,394.00). The Aeropostale ring set was also on sale for just $1.00 (Php 46.47). I bought the necklaces from the Aldo outlet for just Php 100.00 for the set. It’s actually the shoes that made the outfit a bit pricey. Without the shoes, everything else just costs a total of Php 666.47.
