For those of you who know me, you know how much I just love a challenge. So I decided to challenge myself to come up with an even more affordable outfit. In line with my Unbranded Movement, I can easily come up with awesome head-to-toe outfits that cost under a Php 1,000. For this challenge, I decided to cap it at Php 500. Php 500 for an entire head-to-toe outfit? Seems impossible, I know. A pair of shoes alone will eat up the whole budget. For the seasoned bargain shopper though, nothing is impossible. I was actually able to put together a complete outfit for only Php 500!

I wanted to come up with a very comfortable outfit that was still on trend and this is what I came up with. I styled an off-shoulder top with a polka dot print skirt and a pair of simple white sandals. I got the dainty white off-shoulder top from Divisoria for just Php 120. I love the elegant effect of the soft and silky draped fabric. Not to mention, the off-shoulder style is so on trend right now. I found this adorable skirt with blue and white polka dots from a random market place in Cainta for just Php 80. I love the combination of the basic pencil skirt silhouette with an interesting print—lovely. I found this pair of minimalist sandals at the Rubi store in Century Mall. It was on sale! Buy 1 take 1 for Php 600 so one pair actually costs only Php 300—what a steal! I love the simple design of this comfy pair of shoes.

What do you think of my Php 500 outfit? I hope it inspires you to appreciate even the simplest of outfits. When it comes to fashion (and life) it is always a good idea to challenge yourself. You’ll never know where it might lead you. In my case, I ended up with a complete outfit that just about anyone can afford which is pretty awesome.
