I AM A NEW PINOY MOVER

January 29, 2016

I am a New Pinoy Mover because I continuously push myself every single day to be better, even in the simplest way. This is what Rexona’s newest campaign is all about. It’s about Filipinos inspiring fellow Filipinos for a better tomorrow. This is a truly inspiring campaign that sets itself apart from typical marketing campaigns and I am grateful to have played a part in it.

Rexona presents The New Pinoy Mover & MotionSense Technology

The Philippine’s greatest asset is its people. Every day, hardworking Pinoys tackle multiple challenges, from facing three hour commutes to and from work, to weathering through and recovering from calamities. And yet, they remain optimistic and energetic, as they keep dreaming of and pushing towards a better future.

These qualities in Filipinos allow them to continue smiling, and to go above and beyond the call of duty. These traits, together with a developing sense of national identity, has created the New Pinoy Mover, who knows that every move makes a difference and espouses a quality of life that inspires and empowers others.

As a result, the Philippines has had an increased presence on the global stage, as one of the fastest growing economies. Not only is the country’s growth stellar, more importantly, it is consistent. These were all made possible through hardworking and dedicated Pinoys.

Now You Have A Deodorant That Works As Hard As You Do

For all their efforts, Filipinos deserve the most superior deodorant that allows them to #KeepOnMoving. Known as a brand that gives confidence to Pinoys, Rexona has spent years studying people’s movement. And now, the No.1 Deodorant in the Philippines and in the world launches its breakthrough technology, Rexona MotionSense.

New Rexona Motionsense is the first and only antiperspirant with this patented technology that is activated by movement. It contains microcapsules filled with fragrance that burst with friction, so that with every move, you smell fresher throughout the day. The more you move, the more it works

The New Pinoy Movers

To inspire Filipinos to #KeepOnMOving, Rexona Motionsense introduces 50 of the New Pinoy Movers, who were selected for exemplifying the Filipino hardworking spirit and creating an impact in their given industry and beyond.

These are the outstanding Filipinos who have moved the needle in their sphere of influence, but have also excelled in the multiple aspects of their lives. These movers include inspiring personalities like award-winning director Erik Matti, musicians of Up Dharma Down, triathlete Nikko Huelgas, contemporary artist Leeroy New, digital guru Donald Lim, architect Royal Pineda, designers Lesley Mobo and Mich Dulce, inspiring women’s advocate Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, and international theatre star Rachel Ann Go, to name a few. Individually, they have pushed the boundaries in their respective industries. And together, they pave the way for other Filipinos to make a name for themselves, and inspire them to #KeepOnMoving.

Now onto my favorite outfits of the night! Starting things off with the stunning Amina Aranaz. Her outfit is the perfect balance of fashion and elegance.

I instantly fell in love with these sassy knee-high boots and eccentric top. Definitely the most scene stealing outfit of the night. She even matched her awesome outfit with killer dance moves.

Kryz Uy makes every single outfit look refreshingly elegant. This event was no exception.

The pink highlights and royal blue suit is a genius combination. Props to Tim Yap for pulling this look off–looks like Rajo Laurel thinks so too.

Just a fraction of the New Pinoy Movers. I love how they all tried to copy the Rexona MotionSense logo.

Rachel Ann Go closed the program with her beautiful voice.

Mandatory selfie with my date for the night–RJ Dancel of the Millennial Panda.

As usual, I spent most of the night eating. The sweet chili shrimp is the best!
