In this world filled with technological advancements, never underestimate the power of nature. Thankfully, I found a brand that locally produces and retails all-natural beauty products—Eden’s Paradise.

THE NOTERA ERA

October 11, 2016

Notera Philippines Products

In this day and age, the beauty of heartfelt handwritten letters is slowly becoming obsolete. Call me old-fashioned but since when did Facebook, Viber, or Telegram replace the sentiment of a lovely little note. I’m sure it’s way easier to just type something up and post it or print it out but is that really what this world has come to? What is happening to the romantic world? Even the intimacy of relationships is lost in all the public displays of affection on the world wide web. I, for one, am still so intrigued when I receive little cards in sealed envelopes. I still get excited when I get little packages overflowing with personalized effort. If this makes me a hopeless romantic then so be it. So imagine my surprise when I came across a brand that is all about the art of paper—Notera.

TIME FOR A LITTLE GIRL.TALK.MANILA

May 24, 2016

Girl Talk Manila signage

It sometimes amazes me how, in this fast-paced world, there are still genuine experiences that make us take a break from it all and just appreciate the simple things in life. With all the events I get invited to, It’s so refreshing to come across one that doesn’t aim to make a profit or promote a certain product. Girl.Talk.Manila is all about giving women what they want by hosting events that bring like-minded women together in a comfortable atmosphere. I love the whole idea of creating a beautiful space for women to simply talk to each other about fashion, beauty, and other girly things.

THE ALDO LIQUIDATION BARGAIN-NATION

April 18, 2016

Aldo earrings, eyewear, necklace, and swimwear

For years, I’ve been very secretive about my tricks of the trade when it comes to bargain shopping. I guess I always thought that the more people knew about them, the less chances I’d have to get the best deals possible. Recently, I’ve let go of that way of thinking and I’ve decided to slowly reveal all my shopping secrets so everyone can enjoy the benefits of bargain shopping for themselves. I’m kicking off this new blog series with my go-to shopping place for one of my favorite brands—Aldo. When the Suyen Corporation brought this lovely brand to the Philippines, I fell in love with it instantly. The price though wasn’t as pretty as the products so I would only buy sale items before I randomly discovered the wonders of the Aldo Liquidation store.

THE UNBRANDED MOVEMENT

April 14, 2016

Adi Amor wearing a black off shoulder top with white shorts

I have always held fashion brands at the highest regard but, the reality is, not a lot of women can actually afford this luxury so I am starting a new movement—The Unbranded Movement. I know the title needs a lot of work but my point comes across and that’s what matters. This in no way means I’m anti-branded products. If the product (branded or not) gives value for your money then, by all means, buy it. But if you’re just buying it because of the brand then that’s not a good idea. Society has always put branded items on a pedestal but ultimately the brand shouldn’t matter.
