As a self proclaimed foodie, I am always on the lookout for awesome ways to make my little tummy happy. I especially love it when I can eat as much as I want without worrying about how much everything will cost. Buffets are the perfect eating set up for me but, of course, I can’t do that every single day. Well, maybe I can but that’s borderline gluttonous. I’ve recently discovered a meal that I can actually afford to eat every single day—the Imperial Sets of Boon Tong Kee.
The Imperial Sets are already full meals and, the best part is, it even comes with unlimited rice, salad, and iced tea! It’s like a buffet but without the walking part. It’s also very affordable. The prices range from Php 200 to Php 400 only—that’s it, that’s all you have to pay! There’s also tons of choices to choose from so you can actually have a different meal every single time you go to BTK.

I got the Cereal Prawn Imperial Set for myself and it was so delicious. The Cereal Prawns were crispy on the outside and seasoned perfectly on the inside. The Chicken Rice was the perfect compliment to the perfectly cooked prawns. I also couldn’t get enough of the side dishes: fried beancurd with green tea mayo & salad topped with sesame dressing. I don’t know exactly how many refills I had of the rice and the salad because I lost count after the second round—I just kept on going.
My overall experience of the BTK Imperial Set meal was definitely one for the books and I highly recommend this meal to every food lover out there. I especially recommend it to those who want more for their money. This is definitely a sulit meal!
