BLOGAPALOOZA 2015

December 30, 2015

In all types of industries, networking is one of the most important but overlooked aspect. As an entrepreneur, building relationships is essential in developing your business and in taking your venture to the next level. There are a number of ways to build your network. One can opt to attend workshops, networking events or even Blogapalooza. Blogapalooza is an annual event that connects bloggers and digital influencers to various businesses in the Philippines.

The goal of Blogapalooza is to provide a direct platform wherein business and bloggers can develop a mutually beneficial relationship. This lowers the marketing costs of businesses and provides exposure to bloggers and digital influencers.

Blogapalooza 2015 was attended by a variety of businesses and bloggers. I, of course, was one of the bloggers and here are the top 5 booths that left a lasting impression on me.

BREVILLE

An Australian company that manufactures all sorts of small kitchen appliances. I loved how their booth utilized their products to promote healthy eating. They were handing out samples of their cold soup and juice blends. I especially liked their cold squash soup.

I AM CARDBOARD

A local company that produces Virtual Reality (VR) headsets based on the Google Cardboard template. I loved the enthusiasm of the representatives at the booth. They are total fans of the product which made me even more interested in it. They even allowed the event goers to try out the VR Headset. It was completely amazing and so new to me. I even took a headset home for myself. Expect a review on their VR headsets very soon on my blog.

EMPORIA

A local start-up digital platform that features a variety of online brands, offering convenience and security in cyberspace shopping. I loved their eye-catching booth design and booth activities. They had a lovely photo-wall with adorable props. I was able to try out the shopping app with ease. They also had one of the more generous giveaways–Gift Certificates! Visiting their booth was an all-around pleasant experience.

FLAWLESS

A local skin clinic that provides affordable solutions to costly facial services. I loved the feminine design of the booth. They also had great props and giveaways. I played on their mini golf course and won a bag of their products. I also loved how the staff were having as much fun as the event goers were.

THE DIFF

A local lifestyle brand that champions individual self-expression through customized gadget cases & accessories. I loved the artistic feel of their booth design and the friendliness of their representatives. They truly knew their brand by heart which made me appreciate the brand even more. The live art installation was genius! I tried out their phone case customization service and I was very impressed. More on my customized case by The Diff here.
